Description
This hemoglobin/haptoglobin complex ELISA recognises human hemoglobin/haptoglobin (Hb/Hp) complex in 100-fold lower concentrations.
This lower concentration detection avoids false-negative results. Because of the antibodies used in this assay, false-positive results are almost excluded. Recent data show that the hemoglobin/haptoglobin complex determination increases the clinical specificity and sensitivity.
